Effective August 3, 2026 · Video-Joy ("we", "us") — video, social media, and website services for churches and local businesses.

The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you and do the work you ask for, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it any time. The details:

What we collect

Information you send us through forms on this site — such as your name, church or business name, city, phone number, email address, current website, and anything you write in a message field (for example, when you request a free website preview).
Account information if you use our client portal — your name, email, and the details of your orders and projects.
Billing information if you subscribe to a paid service. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Scheduling information if you book a call through our Calendly link — handled under Calendly’s own privacy policy.
Basic usage analytics (pages visited, general device type) collected by our website platform to help us understand how the site is used.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, build the free preview you requested, and deliver the services you hire us for.
To contact you about your project by email or phone.
To bill you for services you’ve purchased.
To improve our website and services.

What we never do

We never sell your personal information.
We never share your information with third parties for their marketing.
We never add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run our business, and your information passes through them only as needed to serve you: our website and database platform (Base44), our payment processor (Stripe), our scheduling tool (Calendly), and email. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies needed for it to function (like keeping you signed in to the client portal) and for basic analytics. We don’t use advertising cookies on this site.

Your photos and content

If you’re a client, the photos, videos, and information you share with us for your website or content are yours. We use them only to build and maintain what you hired us for, and to showcase completed work in our portfolio — if you’d rather we not feature your project, just tell us and we won’t.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep inquiry and project information for as long as it’s useful for serving you. If you’d like us to delete the information we hold about you, email us and we’ll take care of it.

Children

Our services are for churches and businesses, not children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date below. Significant changes will be noted plainly here.
